This Friday, my vintage photo of the week is this beauty.
These guys look a bit disillusioned. Actually, they look an awful lot like the miners of the gold rush era.
Maybe that explains the long faces.
It’s a dog-eat-dog world out there. Especially in California in the 1850s. From miners to cowboys, life was hard. But I sure love what they're wearing.
