Because my neighborhood is built within a mile of a river, and because there are a million trails around it, seeing deer in the surrounding area is a regular thing.
But I don't minimize these sightings. Nature in nature is always beautiful even if commonplace.
Here is Mama Deer and her two fawns were out for breakfast this morning. Their natural camouflage always amazes me (the other fawn is out of the shot).
