Thank God it's Vintage Friday │ Women's Vintage Fire Crew from 1932 London

Came across this fun photo from Old Pictures. They labeled it "A female firefighting team on a converted motorcycle in London, 1932."

I'm not 100% sure this isn't an advertising gimmick.

But if not, how cool is this?

As someone who is married to a fire captain, I can tell you, firefighting isn't for the faint of heart or body. If this "fabulous four" was a real thing, then wow. The fire protective "gear" they wore back then was nothing compared to today. I commend them.

Way to go, ladies.
